About the Role
CLEAR is seeking a visionary, customer-obsessed, and technology-focused product lead with expertise in mobile app development to shape the future of CLEAR's mobile app experience. This role is instrumental in delivering impactful solutions that drive user satisfaction and business growth, transforming the mobile app into an intelligent, trusted travel companion.
Responsibilities
- Establish CLEAR’s Mobile app strategic vision and product roadmap in alignment with enterprise goals and user needs.
- Transform the app into an intelligent travel companion that guides members through preparation, real-time navigation, food ordering, lounge discovery and access, and any disruptions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Operations, Member Care, Marketing, Security, and Legal to drive a shared vision and accelerate product development.
- Champion product excellence and innovation by balancing differentiated, long-term bets with iterative improvements.
- Define and deliver proactive, context-aware experiences that translate real-time conditions into useful next actions.
- Extend the app’s value beyond the airport by creating reasons for members to return and build a deeper relationship with CLEAR.
- Build a durable product operating model that supports fast learning and responsible scale across iOS and Android.
- Connect the digital app to the physical airport experience, CLEAR’s service teams, and partner ecosystem.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Product Management experience, with significant exposure to mobile app development.
- Proven ability to lead teams with a deep sense of customer empathy, driving user advocacy throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ability to see around corners and create clarity in ambiguous environments.
- Ability to articulate an inspiring future state, identify strategic bets, and sequence the work required.
- Experience spearheading large-scale consumer mobile app initiatives, managing technical trade-offs, and ensuring architecture is scalable and secure for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Experience establishing a data-driven culture that orients teams around key performance metrics like mobile app user acquisition, engagement, and member retention.
- Experience connecting digital products to physical-world operations, service teams, and partner ecosystems.
- Collaborative and strategic prioritization skills, balancing stakeholder needs while focusing on delivering impactful solutions.
- Ability to live and impart CLEAR’s core values.
- Ability to influence across a complex organization, aligning diverse stakeholders around a clear point of view.
