About the Role

As a Principal Expert Enterprise Architect, you will guide customers through digital transformations using cutting-edge SAP technologies, advancing the RISE with SAP initiative, promoting Clean Core principles, and accelerating SAP's innovation and AI adoption. You will develop a comprehensive reference Enterprise Architecture – RISE Model for customers, aligning with their business objectives and working with a variety of experts in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Develop reference architecture and transformation plans promoting SAP best practices and references.
Provide architecture guidance using RISE with SAP methodology and Clean Core principles to ensure customers yield value from SAP's standard cloud qualities.
Identify innovation use cases (AI, BDC, CAIA, CIS) that benefit customers' strategic and operational objectives.
Apply and advise on the integrated toolchain (ITC / BTM) to drive transformation efficiency.
Advise customer management on architecture and transformation activities.
Identify and mitigate technical adoption risks.
Align customers and partners with SAP’s Clean Core strategy, accelerating BTP adoption.

Requirements

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Informatics, or a comparable education.
9-11+ years of practical experience from a multi-national environment advising management and working as an enterprise architect and/or transformation advisor.
Proven experience delivering enterprise business transformation, aligning stakeholder priorities with system architectures and roadmaps.
Experience delivering at least one full end-to-end SAP implementation in a responsible role from process design to after GoLive, ideally including support and optimization.
S/4HANA technical and/or SAP S/4HANA application/functional knowledge/experience.
Solid knowledge of SAP’s strategy, the latest product portfolio, and their impact on business.
Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
Strong communication skills, including with senior management and C-levels, both within an IT team and across business functions.
Mindset for strategic thinking, continuous learning, and business acumen.
Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to a new environment.
Excellent English and German language skills.
