About the Role

This role supports the Amazon University Talent Acquisition team as a full lifecycle recruiter, focusing on early career talent recruitment across Amazon in Australia and New Zealand. You will act as an ambassador for Amazon at university campuses, maintaining presence and collaborating with internal teams to align recruiting programs with hiring needs.

Responsibilities

Develop operational plans and branding activities at assigned schools with university leads to attract top early career talent.
Develop relationships with placement officers, department heads, faculty/staff, alumni, and student organizations.
Develop, implement, and attend on-campus events including info sessions, tech talks, executive visits, career fairs, faculty visits, on-campus interviews, Amazon Days, and events with student organizations.
Manage university-specific teams, ensuring appropriate member selection, clear role definitions, coaching, and a unified recruiting approach.
Screen candidate CVs and conduct phone screens to shortlist for panel interviews; participate as a panel interview member.
Partner with university teams to annually assess target university performance, review analyses with key stakeholders, and use data for long-term decisions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, maintaining communication throughout the recruitment process.
Support recruitment assignments in other Asia Pacific locations as part of Amazon's regional university recruitment team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3 or more years of recruitment experience, preferably in Campus/Graduate hiring.
Ability to execute campus recruiting plans, marketplace promotion, candidate management, and interview process management.
Experience in driving programs end-to-end with the ability to identify and drive continuous improvement.
Ability to influence and guide key internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain strong relationships.
Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve with minimal guidance.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
