About the Role

At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you will help develop and deliver critical infrastructure like factories, grids, and transit systems, transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed with digital innovation and AI. Responsibilities

Support the Project Manager with day-to-day management, coordination, administration, and field oversight of the project from construction through closeout.
Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.
Coordinate with stakeholders including the Owner, design consultants, contractors, subcontractors, governing agencies, testing and inspection agencies, and vendors.
Maintain effective communication and timely resolution of issues and action items.
Maintain a regular on-site presence and monitor construction activities for compliance with drawings, specifications, approved submittals, contract requirements, quality standards, and applicable inspections and testing requirements.
Review contract documents and field conditions to identify potential conflicts, incomplete or nonconforming work, constructability and coordination concerns, and other risks affecting cost, schedule, quality, or project completion.
Support project administration by managing RFIs, submittals, change requests, meeting minutes, action-item and decision logs, correspondence, field directives, contractor documentation, and other project controls.
Participate in project, progress, preconstruction, pre-installation, and coordination meetings and follow up with responsible parties to facilitate timely resolution of outstanding issues and decisions.
Monitor contractor performance and construction progress, including manpower, sequencing, deliveries, inspections, testing, milestones, and scheduled activities.
Communicate delays, deficiencies, coordination concerns, and emerging risks to the Project Manager.
Review and monitor the contractor’s CPM schedule, compare planned activities with actual field progress, document key dates, evaluate schedule impacts and recovery plans.
Assist with cost and change management, including PIs, CORs, proposals, and time-and-material work.
Assist with reviewing monthly Applications for Payment, verifying completed work and supporting documentation.
Coordinate inspections with authorities and third-party agencies.
Track deficiencies, corrective actions, retesting, and required approvals.
Maintain detailed daily reports and photographic documentation of construction activities, field conditions, safety observations, quality issues, changes, delays, and milestones.
Support punch-list management, commissioning, Owner training, final inspections, and closeout documentation.

Requirements

Minimum 6+ years of construction industry experience, preferably in Assistant Project Manager, Construction Manager, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, Assistant Superintendent, Field Manager, or similar project management/construction management roles on commercial, educational, institutional, or other complex building projects.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Bluebeam, Kahua, PlanGrid, Procore, or similar construction/project management platforms.
Ability to independently monitor field conditions, recognize potential cost, schedule, quality, and coordination issues, and promptly communicate those issues to project leadership.
Ability to maintain a consistent field presence while also performing administrative and project controls responsibilities.
Demonstrated experience supporting the day-to-day management and field administration of construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods.
Ability to effectively coordinate with contractors, design professionals, consultants, inspectors, and Owners.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, change documentation, and other construction documents.
