About the Role

Assist the DC Operations Manager in daily duties, ensuring all job functions are completed and that inbound and outbound product is accurately pulled, packaged, loaded, and shipped.

Responsibilities

Print Load Reports and assign to warehousemen.
Process driver's paperwork, ensuring completeness and daily filing.
Assist Operations Manager in locating misplaced product.
Assign pick locations as needed.
Double check all orders.
Coordinate outbound and inbound freight by taking appointments, calling carriers, and ensuring timely shipment.
Communicate shipping issues, problems, light trucks, and non-shippable orders with office sales personnel.
Coordinate container delivery and inbound/outbound processes.
Assist in pulling and receiving orders.
Assist in stocking.
Assist in warehouse re-organization of aisles.
Identify more efficient ways of performing daily functions.
Coordinate with the pack house to ensure items needed for a 100% ship rate are covered.
Maintain DOT maintenance on trucks and trailers and coordinate with drivers and vendors on issues.
Maintain Drivers Med Cards & Licenses.
Perform Cycle counts as instructed.
Print Delivery tickets / Driver Trip Sheets.
Assist in obtaining quotes for basic warehouse expenses and special needs.
Cover for the Operations Manager during absences.
Coordinate will call orders in a safe and service-friendly manner.
Maintain and care for company-owned or leased equipment.
Maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness and organization.
Perform Operations Manager or Supervisor duties during periods of absence.

Requirements

Must be able to pick up and place on a pallet 560 pieces (or cartons) over an eight-hour period weighing an average of 40-50 lbs.
Fall protection device weight limitation is 310 lbs.
Pieces (or cartons) may be picked up from heights ranging from ground level to shoulder height.
Must be able to twist or contort body from side to side.
Attendance/Punctuality: Consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives at meetings and appointments on time.
Work Location: This work is critical to be conducted at the assigned office, with remote work not practical.
