About the Role

As a Team Lead Quality Assurance Automotive / Vehicle Inspection (m/f/d) at CarOnSale, you will ensure that our vehicle reports, auctions, and data processes meet the high standards expected by our customers and partners. You will lead a team that combines automotive expertise with a deep understanding of quality processes.

Responsibilities

Ensure team goals and KPIs are met, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and timelines.
Review team's work results (reports, data maintenance, auction adjustments) for quality and compliance.
Lead the team in daily operations and provide technical guidance for complex or critical tasks and during intensive work periods.
Take responsibility for processes that are not running smoothly, find solutions, and get them back on track.
Develop new processes where necessary.
Contribute to projects and drive the further development of our processes within the OKR framework.
Create work plans, prioritize tasks, and ensure a structured workflow.
Communicate regularly with the team, providing updates, best practices, and feedback.

Requirements

Experience in disciplinary team leadership or a clear, robust understanding of how disciplinary leadership functions.
Ability to motivate and develop team members and set clear goals.
High ownership: Act as the primary point of contact for your team, think cross-functionally, and proactively address process issues or questions to find solutions.
High degree of independence and reliability in process management.
Experience in quality assurance, ideally in the automotive or auction sector.
Confident demeanor and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in Office applications and quick to learn new systems.
Very good German language skills (written and spoken, min. C1) and good English language skills (min. B1).

Education Level

Completed vocational training or professional experience in the automotive sector (e.g., as a car mechanic, car mechatronics technician, or in automotive retail) is advantageous.
Strong private interest in vehicles and willingness to intensively learn vehicle valuation and quality inspection is also welcome.
