About the Role
As a Team Lead in Claims Review (m/f/d) at CarOnSale, you will ensure our vehicle reports, auctions, and data processes meet the high standards expected by our customers and partners. You will lead a team that combines automotive expertise with a deep understanding of quality processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure team goals and KPIs are met, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and timelines.
- Review the team's work output (reports, data maintenance, auction adjustments) for quality and standard compliance.
- Lead the team in daily operations and provide technical guidance for complex or critical tasks and during busy periods.
- Take responsibility for resolving process issues, finding solutions, and getting processes back on track.
- Develop new processes where necessary.
- Contribute to projects and drive the advancement of our processes within the OKR framework.
- Create work plans, prioritize tasks, and ensure structured workflows.
- Communicate regularly with the team, providing updates, best practices, and feedback.
Requirements
- Experience in disciplinary team leadership or a clear, robust understanding of how disciplinary leadership functions.
- Ability to motivate and develop team members and set clear goals.
- High ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for your team, think cross-functionally, and proactively address process breaks or issues.
- High degree of independence and reliability in process management.
- Experience in quality assurance, ideally in the vehicle or auction sector.
- Confident demeanor and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Office applications and quick to learn new systems.
- Very good German language skills (min. C1), both written and spoken.
- Good English language skills (min. B1).
