About the Role

Responsible for performing repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce medical device products, primarily for the Dental industry, such as air compressors and vacuums with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies to blueprint and work instructions.
Operate all equipment and tools in the assigned area to produce product to specification requirements.
Follow all environmental policies and procedures when working with chemicals and substances.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
Maintain high quality and production standards and keep records accurately.
Assist lower classification personnel and cross-train as needed.
Understand and use measuring equipment.
Setup and operate necessary equipment in the assigned area.
Complete all necessary paperwork and records.
Produce and measure product to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and work instruction specifications.
Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area.
Assist with the training of co-workers.
Maintain a clean, neat, and healthy work environment.
Work safely following all safety procedures.
Work overtime as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience as an Electro-mechanical assembler in a dental, medical, or military equipment company preferred.
Knowledge and use of basic assembly hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, drills).
Ability to perform basic assembly functions and use basic hand tools.
Must follow verbal and/or written instructions and take direction from supervisor or lead person.
Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical drawings (Work Instructions, Method Sheets, Bills of Material).
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on a consistent basis.
Ability to maintain an organized and neat work area.
