About the Role
Mesh is seeking a Founding PM for Agentic Commerce. This role involves figuring out how AI agents will change commerce and payments, working with emerging protocols, and running experiments on live payment rails.
Responsibilities
- Be the center of gravity for agentic commerce at Mesh, guiding decisions on what's real, what's hype, and what to test.
- Become the company's expert on agentic commerce protocols, standards, model capabilities, startups, and failures.
- Build proof-of-concept agents completing real transactions on live rails through coding and experimentation.
- Represent Mesh at the frontier of agentic commerce in protocol working groups and hackathons.
- Make the case for what Mesh should build first by writing proposals, sizing bets, and defending them with evidence.
Requirements
- Experience building something real without explicit direction, such as an early startup, a widely used side project, or a functional agent.
- Ability to take an idea to a working prototype using code, APIs, and AI tools independently.
- Form strong opinions based on available information and be willing to change them when evidence dictates.
- Genuine curiosity about how money moves.
