About the Role

Support the Investment Team in the continuous development and management of investment strategies in Public and Private Markets. The internship is available from October 2026 and lasts at least four months.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to quantitative research behind tactical asset allocation models by independently backtesting model enhancements, evaluating new signals, and preparing analyses for investment decisions.
  • Assist in the quantitative screening, selection, and monitoring of funds and ETFs, including peer-group comparisons, performance and risk analyses, and supporting due diligence.
  • Support quantitative analysts in developing the code base, including Python-based tools for portfolio simulation, backtesting, and fund selection.
  • Independently conduct quantitative capital market analyses to support analysts and client advisors.

Requirements

  • Currently studying computer science, mathematics, physics, economics, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong affinity for quantitative topics.
  • Ideally, initial experience in capital markets, statistical modeling, or data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Hands-on mentality.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Ideally, experience with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, or Polars.
  • At least a basic understanding of capital markets.
  • Careful and conscientious way of working.
  • Proactively identify and improve ineffective and inefficient processes.
  • Comfortable in a demanding yet informal start-up environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
