About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Head Infrastructure Development to build a future-fit infrastructure and organization for JLL, developing and enabling resilient and adaptable infrastructure across the enterprise. This senior role involves transforming the infrastructure function, managing source code repositories, CICD pipelines, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute strategy for Infrastructure Development, including digital transformation, cloud optimization, and generative AI adoption.
- Optimize, redesign, and deliver engagement models for Infrastructure services to improve employee experience and enterprise value.
- Champion innovation by embracing and driving automation and observability.
- Manage and optimize cloud, edge, and on-premises infrastructure to maximize enterprise value.
- Develop and engage talent through future-proofing strategies for an adaptive workforce.
- Achieve operational excellence by modernizing to a cost-optimized, stable hybrid infrastructure.
- Build resilient platforms to power business growth.
- Drive and communicate outcomes by collaborating effectively and conveying complex technical concepts.
- Define, measure, and drive success through objectives, metrics, and KPIs.
- Continuously evaluate the business value of Infrastructure Development using metrics like KPIs, Outcome Driven Metrics, and OKRs.
- Drive the adoption of service improvements through a programmatic approach to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Has a clear strategic vision and can develop and communicate an inspiring Infrastructure Development vision.
- Possesses exceptional communication skills for various audiences and can facilitate collaboration.
- Demonstrates strong business acumen and deep understanding of current and emerging Infrastructure Development technologies.
- Skilled at driving cultural change and implementing transformational initiatives like agile, DevOps, SRE, and cloud adoption.
- Has a successful history of building and leading diverse teams.
- Possesses a deep understanding of risk management principles and methodologies.
- Committed to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
- Adheres to the highest ethical standards and demonstrates integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies including cloud computing, virtualization, observability, source code, CICD pipeline, containers, and network architecture.
- Strong experience creating resilient and immutable infrastructure.
- Strategic thinker with a proven track record of implementing large-scale IT initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience as a collaborative and influential leader in FORTUNE 500 environments.
- Established reputation as a bold thinking, progressive executive.
- Transformational leader who leads change with energy and resilience.
