About the Role
Arrive Logistics is seeking a mid-level Product Designer to enhance its proprietary transportation management platform. This role involves designing for complex, data-dense interfaces used by internal teams, focusing on improving speed, information hierarchy, and reducing user friction in high-pressure, repetitive tasks.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and own designs for features and flows within your sprint team’s area, from early framing through shipped UI
- Partner closely with product managers and engineers to define requirements, explore solutions, and iterate based on feedback
- Leverage problem discovery and user research to sharpen problems before jumping to solutions
- Spend time with users to understand their needs and translate learnings into actionable design decisions
- Conduct and synthesize lightweight research, including interviews, usability tests, feedback sessions, and problem discovery
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma and Miro
- Contribute components and patterns to the design system and ensure work is consistent with it
- Present work and rationale clearly to team members and stakeholders
- Participate in design critiques, providing and receiving feedback
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a product or UX designer, ideally on a B2B or SaaS product
- A portfolio showcasing thought process, considered options, and rationale for design decisions
- Strong Figma skills
- Comfort working within and contributing to an established design system
- Solid interaction design and usability fundamentals, particularly for data-dense or workflow-heavy interfaces
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in an agile-like, sprint-based product development environment
- Experience using AI tools in the design process (e.g., Figma Make, Claude)
- Bonus: experience designing for logistics, supply chain, or complex operational tools
