About the Role
Aave Labs is seeking a Video Editor to produce engaging, high-quality video content for social and digital platforms. This role involves collaborating with the Marketing team to visually represent Aave's products, ecosystem, and brand through various video formats, from short-form social clips to longer-form storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality video content across Aave's social and digital channels
- Create content for product launches, campaigns, events, interviews, and the wider Aave ecosystem
- Transform raw footage and creative concepts into engaging edits with strong hooks, pacing, and storytelling
- Collaborate with Marketing, Design, and other teams to realize creative ideas
- Adapt content and formats based on platform, audience, and performance
- Stay current with social trends, editing styles, and emerging content formats
- Contribute to the evolution of Aave's video style and maintain high creative standards
Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality video editing and storytelling
- Experience creating content for social and digital channels
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software
- Good understanding of pacing, hooks, retention, sound, and visual storytelling
- Strong grasp of social platforms and internet culture
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Keen attention to detail and strong creative judgment
- Interest in crypto, DeFi, and the Aave ecosystem
