About the Role

Adaptive is a financial consulting firm seeking a QA Lead to design and deliver complex front-office technology solutions. The role involves proposing and enhancing the project's test strategy, promoting QA best practices, and supporting a culture of quality.

Responsibilities

Propose, create and enhance the project's test strategy, considering the test automation approach
Question and challenge existing practices while actively promoting QA best practices
Support a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility, by educating the team and focusing on value-add testing tasks rather than routine checks
Approach complex challenges with a positive mindset, fostering collaboration with the team and the client, while providing solutions to these challenges and taking active part in them
Contribute to the definition and enhancement of the quality assurance process based on project needs
Provide support and guidance to the team on QA-related activities
Build a solid understanding of the business, technical and operational requirements
Design, maintain and execute test cases, and provide critical analysis of the results
Collaborate with the Dev team to enhance automated tests and maximize test coverage
Work with Dev and DevOps teams to improve test automation tools and solutions

Requirements

Significant experience in a QA lead role
The ability to derive test cases from functional/technical designs
Experience with TDD/BDD and Test Automation
Knowledge of Agile SDLC and an understanding of the QA role within it
Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable engaging with internal and external stakeholders
