About the Role

The Tonight Show is seeking an Audience Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations, including show ticketing and audience recruitment, to ensure the studio is filled year-round. This role supports production with administrative and functional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all show ticketing and audience recruiting strategies to ensure The Tonight Show studio seats are filled year-round.
  • Forecast seasonal audience needs and manage cost-effective ticket distribution through various channels.
  • Coordinate assigned Page staff both in-studio and during ticket office operations.
  • Coordinate Page training regarding ticketing policies, instructions, and in-studio audience loading procedures.
  • Maintain ticket inventory and arrange for all ticket printing.
  • Coordinate with show producers and Guest Relations Director on group bookings and special audiences.
  • Assist with transportation arrangements and other related logistics.
  • Coordinate all The Tonight Show VIP/client ticket arrangements.
  • Coordinate requests with senior management and implement special arrangements as needed.
  • Assist NBC Universal Marketing and Sales, Talent Relations, Government Relations, and Affiliate Relations with internal show ticketing requests.
  • Serve as a liaison to Producers regarding audience guests and special VIP needs.
  • Interface with The Tonight Show Stage Managers, Director, and other staff regarding audience participation and related logistics.
  • Ensure Pages are trained on safety procedures and manage visitor accommodation requests under the ADA.
  • Monitor studio audience facilities for hazards that could risk injury.
  • Respond to and resolve The Tonight Show visitor complaints.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of television production experience.
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Must be willing to work long hours and on weekends with short notice.
  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
  • Must have work authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.
  • External candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and interest in pop-culture is a plus.
