About the Role
As a Diesel Mechanic at R+L Carriers, you will be responsible for the day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet, including preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. This may also involve maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding.

- Perform day-to-day equipment maintenance on fleet equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and forklifts.
- Maintain trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and perform welding as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
- Ability to handle major repairs.
- Experience with AC and Electrical systems.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Must possess own tools.
- Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines.
- Experience using Cetaris for work orders.
- Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs.
