About the Role

Drive proactive sales and new business generation for Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort and Pullman Cairns International. Develop and convert high-value opportunities across corporate, MICE and key business segments. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies and key decision-makers. Support broader portfolio sales initiatives and commercial strategies. Develop tactical sales approaches to secure significant new business. Partner with Revenue and Marketing teams to maximise commercial performance. Use market intelligence and performance insights to identify new opportunities. Lead sales calls, client presentations, site inspections and familiarisation activities. Represent the portfolio at industry events and key networking opportunities. Maintain an active sales pipeline and report on activity, opportunities and results.

Requirements

  • Proven success in proactive hotel, hospitality, tourism or related business development sales.
  • A strong track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Extensive corporate, group and MICE sales experience with an established client network.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers.
  • A highly proactive, self-motivated and results-driven approach.
  • The ability to work strategically across multiple properties and markets.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use market insights to inform sales activity.
  • Willingness to travel to support portfolio properties, clients and key business opportunities.
