About the Role
Systemiq is seeking experienced consultants at Associate to Manager level to join their flexible, project-based contractor network. This role involves supporting project teams on strategy, analysis, and delivery for complex sustainability and systems change challenges across various sectors.
Responsibilities
- Structure complex problems by developing clear approaches to ambiguous strategic questions and identifying necessary analysis.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, research, and synthesis to build a strong evidence base.
- Develop clear insights by transforming complex information into concise conclusions, recommendations, and client-ready outputs.
- Own workstreams by taking responsibility for defined areas and delivering high-quality outputs within agreed timelines.
- Engage with stakeholders by supporting or leading client and stakeholder interactions, including meetings, interviews, and workshops.
- Support project delivery by working closely with colleagues, operating independently, and adapting quickly to evolving project needs.
- Lead others where appropriate, managing workstreams, guiding junior team members, and building relationships with senior clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to bring structure to complex or ambiguous questions.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
- Experience producing concise, high-quality outputs for senior audiences.
- Experience working in project-based environments and delivering to tight timelines.
- Confidence working with clients and other senior stakeholders.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively across unfamiliar topics.
- Collaborative, pragmatic, and adaptable working style.
- For more senior roles: experience managing substantial workstreams, guiding team members, and engaging confidently with senior clients.
