About the Role
As a Senior Cloud Procurement Expert at IONOS, you will bridge strategic financial management and complex technology, architecting commercial relationships to secure our cloud infrastructure. This role goes beyond traditional purchasing, acting as a consultant and leading complex sourcing initiatives with full project responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex sourcing initiatives with full project responsibility.
- Manage holistic procurement cycles for IT, Cloud, and Software.
- Ensure partnerships with the world's best providers.
- Conduct high-caliber contract negotiations to secure excellent commercial terms and a legally sound framework.
- Act as the primary point of contact for providers and internal tech teams, reducing friction and administrative burdens.
- Champion procurement standards for compliant, transparent, and performant deal closures.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in IT/Software procurement (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
- Deep understanding of cloud licensing models.
- Proven track record in leading complex tenders (RFPs) and multi-million Euro negotiations.
- Analytical mindset focused on metrics like savings, lead times, and contract compliance.
- Fluent German and English language skills for negotiations.
