About the Role
A member of our utility team responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing parts, tools, equipment, and merchandise within the Revere Storeroom and Revere mills.
Responsibilities
- Cement Mixing and Finishing.
- Cleaning of Production Machine Pits.
- Confined Space Entry.
- Crane Rigging.
- Handling of Acids, Hydrogen Peroxide, etc.
- Jack Hammer operations.
- Landscaping and Brush Removal.
- Machine Coolant Changes.
- Operate Heavy Equipment including Bobcat, Crane Car, Forklift, Pay loader, and Straddle Carrier.
- Painting, facility and grounds improvements, basic handyman services.
- Snow Removal / Salt Spreading.
- Spill Containment Procedures and Clean-up.
- Various preventative maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance tasks on heavy equipment.
- Willing to work weekends and overtime if required.
- Capable of regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Able to climb ladders and comfortable working in an elevated environment.
- Regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
- May be exposed to wet or humid conditions.
- May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
- May be regularly exposed to high noise environments.
- May be exposed to extremely dusty environments.
- May be exposed to chemicals used in the manufacturing process.
