About the Role

The Transport Product Engineer provides day-to-day product support and technical expertise for customer inquiries, acting as a direct product expert to ensure superior customer support compared to competitors. This role is crucial for bridging new product sales and end-users by offering technical support for product installation, function, and use, including servicing, repairs, and modifications.

Responsibilities

Respond to day-to-day inquiries and requests from existing transport customers, including spare parts, inventory management, and quality/service agreements.
Act as a liaison between customer product technicians and Stryker's technical services personnel.
Maintain communication with global stakeholders to support product inquiry (PI) and Field Actions (PFA and Recall).
Serve as the first point of contact for technical pre-sales product inquiries and provide post-sales technical support.
Grow and develop business relationships within Stryker and with external parties.
Gather and disseminate client/stakeholder feedback from the industry.
Identify necessary changes in content and marketing materials.
Gain an in-depth understanding of competitor products, activities, and key wins.
Support the growth of market share in the region.
Act as a trusted and proactive product specialist.
Support the achievement of sales budgets.
Support the growth of ProCare and technical service sales.
Provide technical support for tenders and proposals.
Support clinical/operational trials within accounts.
Support the roll-out and implementation of products within EMS agencies.
Support clinical and operational education/inservicing within new and established accounts.
Comply with policies, procedures, and requirements, including Stryker’s Mission, Values, and Code of Conduct.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience or ability to connect technical and operational knowledge with a sales function.
Proven track record of success in a technical role.
Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Excellent networking skills with the ability to collaborate with third parties involved in the sales cycle (EMS vehicle builders and suppliers).
Effective communication at all levels with the ability to maintain high-level relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external.
Proven high-level problem-solving skills demonstrating the use of initiative to resolve issues/queries.
Proven ability to organize project workflow and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Formal technical qualification/s (desirable).
English speaking (desirable).
Exposure to CRM system or similar (desirable).
