About the Role
Take 5 Oil Change is hiring customer service-oriented individuals for an Assistant Shop Manager position. This role offers paid training and a clear growth path, with over 90% of field leaders promoted internally. Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and process payments.
- Assume the Shop Manager's responsibilities in their absence.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring employee efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Perform opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with inventory counting and adjustments.
- Train new employees on Take 5 procedures.
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and other light auto maintenance.
- Restock and maintain inventory levels.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop, office, and bathrooms.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit to position safely under vehicles.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods.
- Ability to perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
- Willingness to work in hot/cold weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
