About the Role
This role is for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a high-profile contract, focusing on delivering planned and reactive maintenance for electrical and mechanical systems. The position emphasizes career progression and structured training within a client-focused organization.
Responsibilities
- Deliver PPM, reactive, and breakdown works on all site electrical and mechanical systems.
- Manage engineering assets to prevent unplanned disruptions and support cost-effective operations.
- Oversee reactive works for timely response and closure.
- Develop tools to report on asset and building performance and recommend improvements.
- Carry out routine PPM on electrical and mechanical plant according to schedules and asset lists.
- Address plant faults and defects to maintain equipment.
- Complete reactive tasks across the building, including concessionary stores and fabric-related items.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain suitable spares for maintenance and reactive works, providing parts inventory and estimated timescales.
- Keep the Computer-Based Maintenance System updated with accurate closure of PPM and reactive tickets.
- Complete and submit all paperwork for reactive and breakdown works.
- Prepare and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks.
- Keep all plant rooms under Smart’s responsibility locked, clean, and tidy.
Requirements
- Knowledge of air conditioning, UPS, generators, and LV systems.
- Ability to fault-find using graphical information and alarm data.
