About the Role

This position is responsible for executing revenue management processes and strategies to meet company standards, focusing on continuous improvement and supporting the RMS Senior Leadership team to drive growth across the multi-brand portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate revenue management functions and inventory strategy for hotels across all brands, in alignment with agreed core deliverables.
  • Perform tasks related to RM strategy: training, analysis, auditing, research, report generation, and software integration.
  • Prepare and analyze weekly sales strategy packs.
  • Respond to, solve, and make decisions on standard business requests with limited risk.
  • Contribute to team, department, and business results with limited supervision after onboarding.
  • Assist senior associates by utilizing technical knowledge to enhance business processes.
  • Establish priorities for self and others where appropriate.
  • Allocate time effectively to meet goals without disadvantaging others.
  • Produce reports in response to internal and external data requests.
  • Demonstrate awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement, acting independently to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as appropriate to the business.
  • Understand and deliver against MI revenue management initiatives and philosophies.
  • Communicate and educate hotels on rational pricing, competitive positioning, and restrictions, and their impact on revenue strategies.
  • Manage room authorizations, rates, and restrictions.
  • Effectively communicate brand-specific revenue management philosophies as they pertain to One Yield recommended strategies.
  • Utilize Marriott's revenue management systems and tools to maximize revenue and profit for transient and group segments.
  • Prepare sales strategy meeting agendas and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct Sales Strategy meetings with General Managers and key property staff to educate and evaluate pricing and inventory strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategies with the General Manager to maintain or increase hotel RevPAR.
  • Analyze competitive performance using market share tools and share recommendations.
  • Conduct remote system diagnostics audits and provide consistent recommendations.
  • Deliver training to various team members at contracted properties, ensuring hotel responsibilities are clear and manageable.
  • Execute pricing through High Performance Pricing, including promotions, programs, and packages.
  • Ensure compliance and participation in company promotions and digital channels, completing set up in HPP and eFast.
  • Evaluate retail rates through One Yield's Retail pricing Optimizer and update based on demand, product, or competitive positioning changes.
  • Ensure retail price parity across all booking channels.
  • Ensure hotel sales strategies are effectively implemented in the reservation and inventory systems in a timely manner.
  • Escalate technical questions relating to reservations and property management systems to the correct support desk.
  • Assist hotels with pricing and provide input on business evaluation recommendations.
  • Perform ad-hoc revenue tasks and analysis as directed by RMS Senior Leadership.
  • Lead efforts to coordinate strategies between group sales offices.
  • Conduct analysis required to maximize room revenue and profit, in line with agreed service deliverables.
  • Analyze reports and available information to make long-term pricing recommendations with brand initiatives as a focus.
  • Critique property performance weekly/monthly for Transient & Group segments.
  • Prepare, communicate, and critique weekly and monthly rooms projections.
  • Execute inventory management tasks accurately.
  • Use demand forecast and relevant data points to determine, implement, and control selling strategies.
  • Drive compliance and participation in company promotions and digital channels.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
  • 3 years' experience in the revenue management discipline.
  • High proficiency (speaking, reading and writing) in English is required.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
