About the Role
Red Ember Recruitment seeks experienced SAP Business Analysts/Consultants for a long-term client project in a structured enterprise environment. This role is ideal for SAP professionals with strong functional knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting skills, particularly in SAP MM, WM/eWM, SD, or PP.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd Level SAP application support and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot SAP incidents and provide solutions or workarounds.
- Perform bug fixing, troubleshooting, and debugging of existing SAP functionality.
- Support SAP S/4HANA and ECC6 environments.
- Track incidents until resolution or an acceptable workaround is implemented.
- Record and document problem-solving activities in the relevant ticketing system.
- Perform root cause analysis.
- Provide functional and business process support.
- Escalate complex incidents to 3rd and 4th Level support as required.
- Support non-routine SAP tasks and requests.
- Maintain SAP customising tables, user exits, and programs.
- Support data corrections in accordance with required approvals and IT authorisations.
- Support SAP IDocs and interfaces.
- Provide user training and support.
- Support key users and 1st Level support teams.
- Participate in training sessions with 3rd Level support for new releases and processes.
- Assist with analysis of new scope and business requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP configuration.
- Strong functional SAP consulting experience within their specialist module.
- ABAP debugging experience.
- Experience working in SAP enterprise environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Experience supporting both business users and technical teams.
- Ability to work across SAP modules where required.
- Consultants may be required to provide standby or after-hours support during pre-agreed weeks.
