About the Role
As a leader of the Salesforce Sub-Practice, you will manage integrated functions and teams across Solution Sales & Presales, Solutioning, and Delivery, encompassing onshore, nearshore, and offshore resources. You will be responsible for growing existing business and acquiring new clients within the Salesforce ecosystem, including Core Clouds, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Mulesoft. This involves close collaboration with internal units and stakeholders, driving innovation, and managing the Salesforce partnership.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Salesforce Sub-Practice as an 'Integrated Practice' across functions and teams: Solution Sales & Presales, Solutioning, and Delivery (Onshore, Nearshore, Offshore).
- Oversee and support the expansion of existing business and the acquisition of new clients across all Salesforce areas, including Core Clouds, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Mulesoft.
- Collaborate with other group units and stakeholders (Portfolio Partner, Client Partner, Peers, Heads of Industry, Heads of Practices, etc.) in a partnership-based and trusting manner.
- Drive innovation and the continuous expansion and improvement of the service portfolio, in conjunction with the Salesforce partner, as well as manage and develop the relationship with Salesforce.
- Manage the cost center, including entrepreneurial steering of costs and cost relief, as well as the utilization of associated employees.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with the Salesforce software stack and core CRM processes in consulting and solution sales.
- Profound experience in managing large projects or programs.
- Extensive leadership experience, including managing managers, potentially in international settings and across distributed teams.
- Active role in personnel planning in collaboration with your managers.
- Knowledge of the latest developments and trends in the Salesforce platform.
- Support in the governance of key projects in the Salesforce area.
- Strong understanding of business management principles.
- Confident and professional handling of operational management challenges and conflicts in daily business.
- Quality-conscious, independent, and goal-oriented work style with a high degree of initiative and commitment in a dynamic corporate environment.
- Strong, target-group-oriented, integrative, and constructive communication style.
- Strong delegation skills.
- Responsibility for marketing, innovation management, and investment planning for departmental development, both internally and with clients.
- Independent management of client stakeholders, potentially in coordination with Client Partners.
- Experience working with nearshore and offshore locations is ideal.
- Manage partnerships and collaborations, including with subcontractors where appropriate, as well as cooperation models with other departments, NTT DATA OpCos, and group affiliates – and our shoring partners.
- Independently market offerings to new clients (potentially with support from Portfolio / Solution Sales), both internally and externally (trainings, white papers, presentations, keynotes, etc.).
