About the Role
art-K is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Self-Employed Party Leaders for its arty birthday parties during weekends. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of each 2-hour birthday party session, including pre-party communication, setup, and cleanup.
Responsibilities
- Engage with parents to coordinate and plan each party.
- Create an ambient studio environment for the party, including music and project preparation.
- Lead engaging art workshops for party-goers, catering to various skill levels.
- Foster a positive and encouraging environment, sparking creativity.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards by tidying up the studio after each class.
- Support children to complete their art projects, offering guidance and encouragement.
- Incorporate fun activities like shake breaks or mini dance parties.
Requirements
- Minimum of a second-year student in an Art-related university course.
- Strong proficiency in various art mediums, including watercolour, acrylics, and air-dried clay.
- Proven experience working with children from Year 1 (aged 5-6) and upwards.
- Positive, proactive, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
