About the Role
Join The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin family and go the extra mile for great guest experiences and team spirit. Immerse yourself in the world of gastronomy and hospitality, learning all aspects of food and beverage operations across various outlets including POTS restaurant, In-Room Dining, The Curtain Club Bar, The Lounge, Secret Champagne Garden, and event areas. You will be actively involved in event planning and execution, discovering your talents and growing with the team to create unforgettable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Learn all necessary skills and rotate through all Food & Beverage outlets to find your desired career path post-training.
- Prepare dishes and support the purchasing department with ordering goods.
- Monitor cleanliness and orderliness in all gastronomic areas, developing a keen eye for detail.
- Receive specialized training to become a professional host in service, bar, or events.
- Control bookings and process invoices in the accounting department.
- Work in early and late shifts across different departments.
- Attend vocational school in a block system.
Requirements
- Completed school education.
- Very good German language skills.
- Sound basic knowledge of the English language.
- Charming, authentic, and warm demeanor.
- Well-groomed appearance and good communication skills.
- A natural host with creativity, passion, and joy in work.
- Team player who values teamwork.
- Ideally, previous experience in the hotel or gastronomy industry.
