About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our Product Engineering team and play a key role in bringing an innovative AI-driven music and language learning platform into production. Working within a small, agile innovation team, you will help transform an existing pilot product into a scalable, robust solution while developing new features and authoring tools that enhance the learning experience. This is a hands-on full-stack development role, combining modern technologies including React, TypeScript, Next.js and Python. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across AI, DevOps and Data disciplines, using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and continuously improve how software is built. You'll also work with overseas development teams, contributing to technical decision-making, sharing engineering best practice and helping to drive consistency across a wider international technology function.

Requirements
- Experienced software developer with strong full-stack expertise.
- Hands-on experience developing production software.
- Comfortable working with React, TypeScript, Next.js and Python in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to take ownership of work from concept through to delivery.
- Enjoy solving complex problems, turning ambiguous requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Work collaboratively within small agile teams.
- Experience of modern web development practices.
- Strong attention to code quality and maintainability.
- Enthusiasm for leveraging AI-assisted development tools.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Pass safer recruitment process, including disclosure of criminal records and vetting checks.
