About the Role
Solaris is Europe's leading embedded finance platform, empowering partners to offer compliant, customer-centric banking services. This role is crucial for maintaining the security of our digital financial services and protecting sensitive data.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for fintech.
- Provide guidance and training on security best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security into new services and systems.
- Lead incident investigations for data breaches and provide reports.
- Research industry security trends and technologies specific to fintech.
- Ensure compliance with financial data protection regulations.
- Oversee security team members' responsibilities for data protection.
- Contribute to incident response and disaster recovery planning.
- Follow defined Policies & Procedures for the institution.
- Take ownership of tech responsibilities as described in Change Management Policies.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years in Cybersecurity or Software Engineering roles in a high-growth environment.
- Proven experience within our core tech stack.
- Understands agile workflows and lean principles.
- Business proficient written and spoken English.
- German language skills is a plus.
- Proactive team player with a structured, hands-on approach.
- Creative and self-reflective with an agile mindset.
