About the Role
As a Senior SAP Consultant and Architect, you will play a key role in designing complex SAP target architectures and support clients from strategic consulting through to successful implementation. You will develop SAP solutions in finance, logistics, and/or HCM, focusing on S/4HANA transformations, H4S4 implementations, and integration/interface architectures. You will balance SAP standards with custom developments and leverage SAP BTP for integration, extension, automation, and AI scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Consult clients as a trusted advisor, develop concepts for large-scale projects, and present them to key stakeholders.
- Develop and refine SAP solutions, considering business processes, interfaces, digitization, automation, and optimization.
- Provide technical oversight, support the project management team, and contribute to expanding the project team’s technical and professional expertise, including with new technologies like AI.
- Ensure methods, technical strategies, regulations, standards, security considerations, and best practices are taken into account.
- Identify opportunities for technical expansion at the client’s site and contribute to bid teams with technical concepts, presentations, and quality assurance for proposals.
Requirements
- Degree in (Business) Computer Science or a related field, preferably with a master’s degree or diploma.
- At least 7 years of experience as an SAP customer consultant and SAP (software) architect.
- Proven experience in selected industries (public sector, healthcare, defense, automotive, and manufacturing in medium-sized enterprises) in the German-speaking market (D-A-CH).
- Proven experience and technical expertise beyond the SAP domain (digitalization topics and current technology trends).
- Current SAP certifications in listed subject areas and general architecture methods.
- Business-proficient German and English (at least C1).
