About the Role

As a Project Manager within the FinTech Group Company, Rakuten Payment, Inc., you will lead the entire development lifecycle for Rakuten Pay (Online), from requirements definition to system operation and maintenance. You will coordinate with business stakeholders to define customer needs, work closely with engineers to meet requirements, and manage projects to ensure deliverables meet scope and budget. This role offers the opportunity to improve payment processes, enhance customer experience, and gain extensive knowledge in high-security payment services and BtoBtoC business.

Responsibilities

Lead over whole development phases from requirements definition to system operation and maintenance as a project manager.
Coordinate with team leader manager to determine customers' desires and work closely with engineers to meet stakeholders’ needs.
Work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
Coordinate with developers and other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
Improve the development process with experience and innovative ideas.
Perform, implement, and execute projects with a strategic mindset and leadership skill.
Coordinate with business side to determine customer's needs and desires, engage fully in system planning, requirement and design phases.
Project management.

Requirements

Experience in requirements definition (at least 3 years).
Experience in driving projects as PM or PL.
5+ years' experience in project management for web services development.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Ability to think and act independently.
Ability to proactively enhance and optimize processes while respecting established workflows.
A strong sense of responsibility, ownership and teamwork.
