About the Role
We are seeking a Planning Engineer with a focus on railway planning for our major infrastructure projects at one of our German locations. This role is within our global Mobility business unit, where we develop thriving, connected communities and advance the world by creating sustainable solutions that link existing infrastructure with new technologies to optimize mobility and goods transport.
Responsibilities
- Technical planning and professional/quality coordination with clients, engineering firms, experts, and authorities.
- Collaboration, leadership, and independent coordination with other departments for overall project planning.
- Responsibility for planning quality, deadlines, and project costs within the assigned area according to project specifications.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Civil Engineering (university or university of applied sciences) with a focus on transport infrastructure planning or comparable qualification.
- At least three years of professional experience in the object planning of transport infrastructure projects, particularly in rail infrastructure planning, is desirable.
- Knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and guidelines.
- Technical knowledge in construction phase and logistics planning, construction execution, and track construction methods.
- Team player with a strong implementation orientation and interest in interdepartmental collaboration.
- Independent, responsible, and goal-oriented way of working.
- Confident demeanor, above-average commitment, and enthusiasm.
- Very good German language skills.
- Fluent English language skills.
