About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (commercial and technical) for our major infrastructure projects with a focus on railway planning at one of our German locations. This role is within our global Mobility business unit, where we collaborate with clients worldwide to develop thriving, connected communities that offer opportunities for all and advance the world.
Responsibilities
- Manage multidisciplinary railway infrastructure projects through HOAI service phases 1-7.
- Independently lead projects and manage project teams, including their development.
- Handle commercial and technical project management.
- Control costs and ensure regular project cash flow.
- Manage project schedules and ensure quality.
- Develop various competence centers.
- Undertake planning tasks in all HOAI service phases for railway infrastructure projects.
- Plan traffic facilities and coordinate external and internal planning participants.
- Serve as the primary contact for other trades and clients.
Requirements
- A degree in Civil Engineering (university or university of applied sciences) with a focus on transport infrastructure planning, or a comparable degree with several years of professional experience.
- More than 10 years of project management experience is desirable for technically and economically managing projects profitably through all HOAI service phases.
- Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and IT systems.
- Experience in BIM planning.
- Ability for analytical thinking and structured work.
- Independent, responsible, success- and goal-oriented way of working.
- Confident demeanor, above-average commitment, and enthusiasm.
- Very good German and English language skills.
