About the Role

As a Product Researcher, you will ensure product decisions are based on validated insights rather than intuition. You will translate business questions into sharp research questions, challenge assumptions with evidence, and ensure new features are delivered measurably. You will work across the full spectrum of the product cycle, from project initiation to completion and follow-through, collaborating with Product Owners, Designers, and Developers on products for partners in various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure product decisions are based on validated insights, not gut feeling.
  • Translate business questions into sharp research questions.
  • Challenge assumptions with evidence.
  • Ensure new features are delivered measurably.
  • Help refine research questions and testable hypotheses at project start.
  • Contribute to product alignment sessions and concretize success definitions and KPIs.
  • Use prioritization models like RICE to shift scope discussions from opinion to evidence.
  • Guide tracking implementations with development (e.g., in GA4, Firebase, GTM).
  • Write SQL queries in BigQuery for data extraction, funnel analyses, and cohort analyses.
  • Independently design and run A/B tests and user research based on clear hypotheses.
  • Build dashboards in Looker Studio that teams and partners actively use.
  • Translate research outcomes into clear stories and concrete recommendations.
  • Monitor that features are delivered measurably and learnings are fed back into the team.
  • Contribute to the further development of our internal approach to product research and experimentation.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience with product research, digital analytics, or a comparable data-driven product role.
  • Proficient in GA4 or Firebase, BigQuery, and Looker Studio, or similar tooling.
  • Fluent in SQL and independently write queries for extraction, funnel analyses, and cohort analyses.
  • Able to independently set up and interpret A/B tests, understanding statistical principles like significance, power, and sample size.
  • Hypothesis-driven approach, starting from the question of what you want to know and why.
  • Strong in data storytelling, always translating analyses into a clear conclusion and concrete next steps.
  • Confident in providing counter-arguments when research findings differ from prevailing assumptions.
  • Curious about partners' businesses and pragmatic in approach.
  • Fluent in Dutch.
  • Must not require visa sponsorship.
