About the Role

As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a highly collaborative product vertical working at the cutting-edge of a complex, evolving domain. You will help design, build, and maintain Kotlin services and React applications, working on a version control system for managing system rules and components of GROPYUS’s Building Systems. We value proactive, agile, and test-driven development with a focus on automation. This role is ideal for individuals who want to build products with a profound impact, value sustainability, and take ownership.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Kotlin services and React applications.
Work on a git-like version control system to allow architects and structural engineers to manage system rules and other components of GROPYUS’s Building Systems.
Contribute to team roadmap and sprint planning.
Work across the whole technology stack (Frontend, Backend, Infrastructure).
Leverage state-of-the-art AI tooling to support development workflows.

Requirements

Experience with Kotlin or Java in a professional environment.
Cloud-native experience: Hands-on experience working with applications on Azure, GCP, AWS, or a similar cloud platform.
Experience with React and Typescript in a professional environment.
Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).
End-to-end software ownership: Experience designing, building, running, and maintaining production software.
Understanding of modern engineering practices (e.g. CI/CD, Microservices).
Experience or interest in pair programming.
Interest in contributing to team roadmap and sprint planning.
Curiosity and openness to learn about new Domains and Business Cases.
Experience with or interest in leveraging state-of-the-art AI tooling to support development workflows.
