About the Role
Join Qonto as an Analytics Engineer x Business Analytics to own end-to-end data models for Product, Growth, and Ops Finance analytics. You will design scalable dbt models, ensure data reliability, and collaborate with Business Analysts to migrate to Omni and a semantic layer.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship dbt models and tests for Product, Growth, and Ops Finance analytics teams.
- Partner with Business Analysts to understand their needs and push back on requests that compromise data quality.
- Reduce technical debt by assisting in the migration of the data stack to a more scalable setup, including the move to Omni.
- Own projects from discovery through delivery and track their impact.
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate documentation, testing, and modeling work.
Requirements
- Strong fundamentals in dbt and SQL, with expertise in dimensional modeling.
- Proven experience shipping production-grade models used for dashboard creation.
- Ability to challenge stakeholder requests that may harm data quality while maintaining relationships.
- Design models for long-term reliability and understand when to prioritize immediate functionality.
- Proficiency in using AI tools for modeling, documentation, and test generation.
- Readiness to take ownership of projects end-to-end.
- Willingness to help raise team standards, especially for senior roles.
