About the Role

As an AI SWE / OpenStack Service Engineer, you will support the technical due diligence and transition readiness of OpenStack-derived cloud services. You will analyze modular cloud software at the service level, reconstruct service boundaries and dependencies, and create a reliable basis for the technical handover to receiving teams. Your focus will be on analyzing control-plane components, API interfaces, integration dependencies, configuration models, and runtime requirements. Using AI-assisted software engineering methods, you will accelerate navigation through large codebases, reconstruct call flows, analyze interfaces, and create high-quality technical documentation. You will also support the diagnosis of build and test issues, including dependency resolution, container builds, runtime configuration, and reproducibility challenges. You will transform your findings into structured handover artifacts and collaborate with experts to validate AI-assisted findings and translate them into engineering backlog items.
