About the Role
This client-facing role will lead environment and data strategy workstreams for State Street AlphaSM, a platform redefining investment lifecycle management by connecting front, middle, and back offices. The position requires strong experience in end-to-end environment strategy, architecture, workflow design, and data analysis to create and execute environment designs for industry-leading client servicing platforms. The role involves managing multi-year programs with complex business models and flows across various operating models and demands interaction with executive management.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end environment and data strategy programs that onboard new clients onto State Street’s front-to-back platform
- Lead regional and functional teams supporting workflow analysis, data analysis, requirements analysis for current and future state models and architecture
- Lead creation and delivery of internal and client facing documents (strategy documents, playbooks, architecture documentation, data insights etc.)
- Navigate complex client relationships, build strong business relationships, and manage expectations with client stakeholders
- Lead various stages of the implementation lifecycle across multiple simultaneous global clients
- Support business development and sales efforts through consultative client engagement
- Provide regular status updates and support program management reports as needed
Requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational skills and team management experience
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and expertise in documentation, reporting and presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally structured, and team-based environment, as well as work independently
- Proven experience in Program management, stakeholder management, client engagement and expectation management across project life cycle
- Experience in Agile Methodology and tools (e.g., JIRA, Rally, RTC) preferred
- Front/ Middle office platforms experience is useful
- 15+ years of financial industry experience across front office functionality along with middle (IBOR) and back-office systems, services and data domains
- Strong environment strategy and architecture design experience
- Strong experience in data mining, ETL experience platforms, data visualization/ reporting/ presentation tools
- Exposure to messaging protocols, public/ private cloud platforms and EDMs
- Experience integrating with other industry providers/ consulting partners to promote platform interoperability (e.g., Deliotte, Accenture, PWC, Bloomberg PORT, Charles River Development, BRS Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Factset, Fidessa Minerva, Eze Software)
