About the Role

Responsibilities
- Verify insurance for all patients prior to appointments and treatment cycles.
- Confirm insurance benefits are entered in the practice management system and track changes.
- Collect payments from patients before scheduled services.
- Ensure valid insurance information is present in the patient's chart.
- Act as the primary financial contact for patients, explaining guidelines and policies.
- Address insurance coverage discrepancies with patients and advocate for those facing difficulties.
- Identify and perform necessary pre-certifications for various medical services.
- Determine and communicate patient financial responsibility before procedures and obtain documentation.
- Identify patients eligible for ART care, provide consultations, and secure payments.
- Advise Care Teams on insurance coverage limitations for patient care plans.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays on a rotating basis.
