About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious, customer-obsessed individual to join our team as a Shift Assistant. In this role, you will leverage your past experience and skills from various industries and roles to identify areas for improvement, create a business that provides more convenient and higher quality services that satisfy customers, and build a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable work environment. We expect you to aim to become a future organizational leader. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring that customers' orders are delivered to the right place at the right time, meeting customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Improve safety, quality, and operational efficiency by maintaining and improving a safe and secure working environment, conducting daily safety activities, quality checks, creating standard operating procedures, and engaging in problem-solving and improvement activities.
- Handle daily operations by coordinating with each process to smoothly manage the entire flow of receiving goods, managing inventory, and shipping ordered items. Responsible for executing operations according to hourly plans to deliver products quickly and accurately by the promised delivery date.
- Prepare for new project introductions and operational expansion during sales periods by considering procedural changes and implementation methods for smooth introduction of new services and systems. Also, create training programs and manuals for new hires to smoothly learn Amazon's standard operating procedures.
- Address irregular situations by investigating the causes of various operational challenges and solving problems. Also, consider and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
- Utilize the latest AI tools, including generative AI, to accelerate decision-making speed and focus on critical 'judgments' and 'discussions'.
- Deepen knowledge of AI at your own pace, with resources available to support continuous learning.
Requirements
- Professional experience (industry not specified).
- Experience in improving operations or processes (regardless of scale).
- Basic Excel skills (ability to perform arithmetic operations/SUM function).
- Business-level Japanese proficiency.
- Experience in people management (part-time jobs are acceptable).
- Experience communicating with various generations.
- Ability to act flexibly and make logical judgments.
- Positive attitude towards contributing to an inclusive culture and working in a diverse group.
