About the Role
Lead the development, implementation, and management of complex strategic capability programs and initiatives to support FRNSW operational and organizational priorities. This role provides leadership, governance, coordination, and oversight across multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring benefits are realized, risks are managed, and outcomes achieve FRNSW strategic objectives. It involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver sustainable capability improvements, support organizational change, and enable informed decision-making through effective program management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and management of complex strategic capability programs and initiatives.
- Provide leadership, governance, coordination, and oversight across multiple projects and workstreams.
- Ensure benefits are realized and risks are managed.
- Support the achievement of FRNSW strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver sustainable capability improvements.
- Support organizational change.
- Enable informed decision-making through effective program management practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading complex strategic programs, projects, or change initiatives in a government, emergency services, or similarly complex environment.
- Sound knowledge and experience in strategic planning, capability development, business improvement, and organizational change methodologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and understanding of the NSW regulatory framework and leading change initiatives.
- Tertiary qualifications in a business-related field or equivalent relevant experience.

Salary/Compensations
- Up to $202,166.18 pa (includes salary range $154,231.00 pa to $178,369.00 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading)
