About the Role
Edwards Lifesciences has developed an innovative solution, transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), which allows heart valves to be implanted without open-chest surgery. Our Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business unit collaborates with cardiologists and clinical teams to transform patient care with evidence-based technology. Our driving force is to help patients live longer, healthier, and more active lives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and promote clinical strategies for assigned facilities and regions based on insights from regional, facility, and case data.
- Analyze clinical evidence, guidelines, and competitor trends to build clinical messages applicable to field activities.
- Collaborate with relevant departments from clinical and field perspectives to launch new products and indications and promote regional implementation.
- Establish Edwards Clinical judgment criteria and provide consistent decision-making frameworks to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support KOL and proctor relationship building, new KOL development, and clinical value dissemination in collaboration with headquarters departments such as Marketing and Professional Education.
- Support the improvement of TM and new hire clinical judgment and communication skills through case observation, accompaniment, OJT, and discussions on advanced support cases.
Requirements
- Approximately 5 years of experience in cardiovascular treatment in operating rooms as a nurse, clinical engineer, clinical laboratory technician, or radiologic technologist, or approximately 5 years of experience as a clinical specialist.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to relocate nationwide in the future.
- Willingness to travel for overnight stays, work on weekends/holidays, and work on holidays for academic conferences and training.
