About the Role

As a Security Solution Expert, you will be a senior technical sales professional and trusted customer advisor, working with cutting-edge security technologies such as Microsoft Defender for XDR and Sentinel. You will lead a v-team of other internal, partner and consulting resources to help map Microsoft solutions to customer security challenges and priorities, demonstrate and prove our solutions, and win the technical decision enabling the team to achieve/exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. You will help solve complex security challenges for our customers, enabling them to help modernize their security architecture and posture.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical point of contact for potential customers during the sales process, owning and driving technical wins for security opportunities.
Possess a deep technical understanding of cloud security architectures, solutions, and technologies, including Microsoft 365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel, with expertise in extended detection and response (XDR), zero trust, and cloud security solutions and architectures.
Remediate blockers and lead technical wins for Microsoft Security and adjacent technologies.
Engage proactively and independently with customers, build credibility as a trusted advisor, and use Microsoft Security customer references.
Facilitate handoffs to the customer success team for post-sales deployment.
Develop strategies and recommendations to improve client security posture and shape technical win plans.
Tailor Microsoft messaging to the target audience for security opportunities.
Enhance team capabilities in XDR, zero trust, and cloud security, and develop differentiated competitive strategies for Microsoft Security.
Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and architecture design sessions.
Explain, demonstrate, and architect solutions to address customer security challenges and priorities.
Collaborate with internal and external teams throughout the sales cycle.
Engage partners in sell-with scenarios and support their technical capabilities to scale solution delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
Proficiency in both English and French is a justified business requirement.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field AND 6+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
4+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
Experience and passion for learning (technical and professional skills).
Implement practices learned from others.
Willingness to try, fail, and learn from both successes and failures.
Share practices and knowledge for others' benefit.
Certification in Microsoft 365 Security Administration or Azure Security.
One or more industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, IAAP, etc. is preferred.
Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
Experience with Next Gen Web Application Firewalls and Secure Web Gateways.
Experience with Threat detection technologies.
Experience with Log analysis and Incident Response.
Experience with cloud security technologies, architectures, and concepts such as Zero Trust, cloud security posture management, cloud workload protection, Cloud code security, and Cloud infrastructure entitlement management.
