About the Role
The Technical Program Manager will manage the introduction of new cloud services and hardware platforms, driving engineering, validation, and production readiness for new cloud capacity. This role directly impacts Azure capacity delivery by leveraging server platform capabilities and architectures, with a key focus on reducing Time-to-Market (TTM) and ensuring infrastructure quality and scalability for Microsoft customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage the introduction of new cloud services, hardware platforms, and the tools/processes to deploy next-generation cloud infrastructure capabilities.
- Collaborate with partner engineering teams across Microsoft to ensure new services meet scale and cycle time specifications for high-volume deployments.
- Analyze data to identify, prototype, and drive the implementation of technical and process improvements that increase the predictability, agility, and quality of capacity deployment systems.
- Continuously drive improvements in the Time-to-Market (TTM) for new cloud service introductions.
- Effectively communicate with and influence partner teams.
- Provide technical and program leadership with respect and integrity.
- Drive technical projects from requirements through launch, including managing complex project schedules, mitigating risks, and ensuring smooth process operation.
- Develop status reports and communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Must pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Salary/Compensations
- USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year (U.S. typical base pay range)
- USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area base pay range)
