About the Role
Pathstone is seeking Client Advisory Associates for a 2-year, entry-level position in our San Francisco office. This role offers the potential for top performers to extend their engagement for up to an additional 3 years as a Senior Associate. Associates work in teams to manage investment portfolios for high-net-worth families and institutions, supporting portfolio managers in producing reports, providing client service, and building client portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Produce performance reports and presentations.
- Provide exceptional client service.
- Assist with building client portfolios.
- Participate in special projects, such as asset class deep dives, portfolio reviews, and spending analyses.
- Coordinate complex estate-planning transactions.
- Manage risk across client relationships by adhering to firm and regulatory policy, procedures, and processes.
- Complete independent work for clients using Excel, PowerPoint, Addepar, and Salesforce.
- Join internal investment meetings and client meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Less than two years of work experience.
- Interest in financial markets and client service.
- Ability to work collaboratively and problem-solve in a diverse team environment.
- Accountability and initiative are required.
- Keen interest in developing deep knowledge of client service, portfolio management, investments, and financial markets.
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to ask questions.
