About the Role
Humble Design San Diego seeks a dynamic, empathetic, creative team member to design welcoming, personalized homes for clients leaving homelessness. This position is critical to delivering dignity, security, and joy to neighbors as they begin new chapters.
Responsibilities
- Prepare all items for client's home at the warehouse.
- Install items at the client's home on the designated installation day.
- Direct and guide volunteers in a kind and communicative way.
Requirements
- Must have a positive, friendly, and can-do attitude.
- Must be a passionate advocate for the organization.
- Must be understanding and empathetic, especially when talking with clients.
- Must be resourceful and scrappy, working with donated items.
- Must be humble and understand this is a service position.
- Must lead with integrity.
- Must be comfortable moving and lifting furniture, boxes, and decor daily in a warehouse environment.
