About the Role
As Office Manager, you will own the day-to-day operations and workplace experience for the Blacksmith San Francisco office. This is a crucial role focused on creating an enjoyable and impressive office environment for the in-person team and guests.
Responsibilities
- Own the workplace experience, including technology, design, and kitchen amenities.
- Coordinate internal team events, lunches, and dinners.
- Assist with coordinating and managing external customer and network events.
- Manage employee recognition for work anniversaries, birthdays, and special events.
- Effectively manage daily office operations, including vendors, equipment, supplies, and facilities.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all guests.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the office experience.
Requirements
- Experience in delivering exceptional workplace experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of what makes an in-person office experience enjoyable and the ability to deliver it.
- Enjoyment in creating experiences, attention to detail, and anticipation of team needs.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfort in owning logistics and coordinating across the business to deliver initiatives.
