About the Role
This role is responsible for leading a team that designs, builds, and executes innovative enablement programs for Equinix partners. The programs will cover high-priority processes, tools, products, and sales plays to enhance customer/partner engagements and field effectiveness. The leader will also develop proficiency frameworks and associated learning to improve the skills, knowledge, and acumen of key partner organization roles.
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing team in developing end-to-end enablement, training, and certification programs for external partners.
- Own the development of enablement programs for high-priority operational excellence initiatives and sales plays.
- Collaborate with Enablement Business Partners to identify partner and channel priorities.
- Establish and develop proficiency frameworks for key partner and partner sales personas.
- Lead a process for enablement intake in partnership with the Global Partner Experience team to prioritize resources.
- Create and implement a strategy for assessing enablement program effectiveness using metrics and feedback.
- Provide GTM leaders and BU stakeholders with insights into program adoption and impact.
- Ensure team accountability for landing key enablement programs to achieve business outcomes.
- Determine the most effective enablement formats (comms, assets, learning interventions) for program objectives.
- Use metrics to identify trends, information gaps, adoption rates, and areas for improvement.
- Manage team performance through motivation, engagement, and coaching.
- Challenge existing enablement processes to achieve best-in-class approaches.
- Model Equinix cultures and values, including transformational leadership behaviors.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in enablement.
- 5+ years' experience in a channel/partner development organization.
- Solid experience in transformational project management capabilities.
- Expertise in implementing innovative enablement programs and tools.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the business.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to multi-task and remain hyper-organized.
- Proactive, self-directed, and results-oriented.
