About the Role
Together AI is seeking a Community Engagement Lead to advocate for their technical audience, manage community channels (X, LinkedIn, Discord), and develop content strategies to foster community growth and engagement. This role is crucial for scaling the company and supporting the open-source AI community.
Responsibilities
- Be the heartbeat of the Together AI technical community, understanding and enabling developers and researchers.
- Operate community handles across X, LinkedIn, and Discord.
- Own content strategy for community handles, delivering engaging content including learning materials and user-generated content.
- Collaborate with marketing, developer relations, and solution architect teams to execute the content strategy.
- Experiment with new ideas, content types, competitions, and swag to engage the community.
- Translate deep understanding into engaging in-person meetups and events (20% of the role), collaborating with Events/Dev-rel teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of developer marketing and community engagement experience.
- Deep understanding of the AI developer audience.
- Awareness of social spaces developers frequent and ideally, personal presence in those spaces on X.
- Natural inclination towards social presence and staying updated on the developer world.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to build initiatives from the ground up.
- Data-driven and idea-oriented, with a focus on experimentation and content creation.
- Ideally, a developer with an engineering background.
